- UHP water can be an extremely useful tool when it comes to inspection preparation. The welds and required areas are cleaned of paint and contaminants for inspection or repair.
- UHP water will lift debris out of minuet cracks and will expose these fractures without closing them, leaving the surface condition perfect for UT, dye pen and MPI inspection.
- UHP water is also utilised for weld and repair preparation when large areas are required.
Due to the flexibility and speed in which UHP water can perform this type of task, areas can be quickly accessed and treated with minimal cost and downtime. The water will remove all paint and debris leaving the surface ready for weld/repair and eliminating the risk of fume hazards.
